- Principle: Where much is given, much is required.
- Book of Mormon Reading: Alma 46:29 - 46:41
- Moroni had "power to do his will with the armies of the Nephites" (v. 34). Think over all Moroni was required to do since he was in that place, See Index to the Triple Combination, Moroni.
- In Luke 12 and 13 Jesus teaches in Judea and travels to Perea where he heals a woman on the Sabbath and teaches the parable of the Mustard seed. Read Luke 12:1-59 and Luke 13: 1-35. In verse 48 of chapter 12 the phrase “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required” As you read ponder then answer the following questions:
- What does that phrase mean?
- How do you define ‘much’?
- What have you been blessed with in your life?
- What is required of you?
- How can you better meet those requirements?
