Day 222
- Principle: Each child of God is important.
- Book of Mormon Reading: Alma 48:19 - 49:8
- Why were the people reluctant to have wars against the Lamanites? What does this demonstrate to you about the importance of God's children?
- Jesus Christ gives a number of parables about the importance of the individual. Study the following scriptures and make note about how he treats those involved.
- The parables teach different ways in which things or people were separated. Consider, with the lost sheep, the sheep wandered off gradually. The lost coin was neglected. And the prodigal son willfully disobeyed. In each of these parables what was done to bring the person/coin back? Why do we need to treat each person differently?
