Day 229

• Principle: Welcome Jesus into all parts of your life.  
• Book of Mormon Reading: Alma 52:1 - 52:18
  • A year goes by without the Nephites taking any of the cities back from the Lamanites.  Liken the Lamanites to sin, if you welcome it in, or it is forced in, it often takes time to remove from your life.  How can inviting Jesus Christ into all parts of your life help reverse this pattern?  How do you welcome Jesus?
• Jesus started the last week of his life by returning to Jerusalem.  He arrived at Passover, in late March of early April.  His first day of the week he entered Jerusalem, was visited by Greeks, and returned to Bethany.  As you read the following scriptures pay attention to the adoration given to Jesus as well as the effort made to make him feel welcome.

  • Mark: 11: 1-11
  • Luke 19: 29-44
  • John 12: 12-36
• Ponder your own life.  Are there areas that you are not allowing the teachings of Jesus Christ to influence?  Maybe the private use of your phone or with a coworker who disagrees with you.  How can you invite Jesus into all parts of your life?
