• Book of Mormon Reading: Helaman 6:31-6:41

  • What leads to the ‘awful state’ that is ‘ripening for an everlasting destruction’?  What can you do, with the Lord’s help, to overcome evil influences?

• Study about Sarah, Abraham’s first wife and the mother of Isaac, in Abraham 1–2.  

• Sarah has a powerful experience of deliverance and becoming a mother in her later years.  Read about her faith in Genesis 11–24.  (If pressed on time read chapters 18, 20, and 21.)  

  • What was Sarah’s reaction when she learned she was going to have a child?

  • What changes Sarah’s laughter into faith in the Lord?
