Day 269
Principle: Faith proceeds the miracle.
Book of Mormon Reading: Helaman 11:1-11:20
Sometimes the Lord chastens his people to help them remember him. How does faith help during times of chastening? Notice how the cycle of chastening can happen within less than a decade. (verses 1 and 35)
Are you willing to act in faith before the miracle? Would you give your last bit for the Lord? The Widow of Zarephath demonstrates true faith in a very difficult time. As you read ponder the level of sacrifice her faith required.
