• Principle: Forgiveness comes through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

• Book of Mormon Reading: 3 Nephi 1:15-1:30

  • Comparing a miracle to forgiveness of sin, which one strengthens your faith more?  Which one should you focus your energy on obtaining?

• Life feels unfair.  The actions of others can unjustly impact your life.  Through no fault of our own things can be lost, pain can be felt, and loved ones can pass on unexpectedly.  James E. Faust said:

  • “Many who think that life is unfair do not see things within the larger vision of what the Savior did for us through the Atonement and the Resurrection” (James E. Faust, “Woman, Why Weepest Thou?” 52).

• As you study the life of Mary Magdalene today pay attention to how she reacts to the unjust actions of others?  What does she do?  How can you better emulate her behavior?
