• Principle: Mothers have a powerful influence on the faith of their children.

• Book of Mormon Reading: 3 Nephi 5:1 - 5:19

  • Verses 10 - 19 are the testimony of Mormon.  As you read this testimony written all those years ago, ponder the effort of Mormon and the impact of his testimony on your life and the lives of the millions around the world.  Never underestimate the power of your testimony!

• The mothers of the stripling warriors are a great example of the power of testimony on the life of their children.  These Lamanite converts, who were refugees, let their sons go 11 years after settling in the land of Jershon.  Their faith in God allowed them to let their sons go to war as well as demonstrated to their sons the power of faith in God.
