  • Principle: Listening to the Holy Ghost is the first step in listening to God.

  • Shifting gears.  Now that you are to 3 Nephi 11 you will dive into the life and teachings of Jesus Christ in the Book of Mormon.  

  • As you read the account of Jesus Christ coming to the Americas put yourself, as best you can, at this event.  

    • Read 3 Nephi 11:1 - 11:17

    • How did people react to the Savior's appearance?

    • What thoughts and feelings did you have reading this account?

  • Cross reference  3 Nephi 11:11 with  D&C 19:16–19.

    • How does Christ describe His suffering?

  • Reread  3 Nephi 11:14–15

    • What do you learn about the fullness of Christ's mission?

    • What do you learn about his love for each person?
