• Principle: The Sabbath Day is your weekly reminder to the Lord.

• Under King Lib the people being highly prosperous.  So much so that in verse 28 Moroni records that “never could be a people more blessed than were they”  What were some of things they were blessed with?  It is interesting to note that their blessings came through their work effort and not given as manna from heaven.  (See phrases like they were industrious, they did work, etc.)  Why were the people so blessed? 

• One of the ways the Lord has promised blessings is to those who keep the Sabbath Day.  Study the following verses about the Sabbath Day.

  • Mosiah 13:16–19; 18:23; Exodus 35:1–3; Leviticus 26:2–4, 6, 12

  • Luke 13:11–17; John 5:1–18
