- Read Doctrine and Covenants 110:4 and ponder how the Savior acts as your advocate.
  - Read Hebrews 4:15; Doctrine and Covenants 29:5; 38:4; and 45:3–5 and look for answers to the following questions.
    - How is Jesus Christ qualified to be your advocate?
    - To what is Jesus Christ drawing attention?
- In the Book of Mormon, Zenos knew about the advocating nature of Jesus Christ.
  - Read Alma 33:3–11 and look for clues about how Zenos knew Jesus Christ was his advocate.
  - What do you learn about your relationship with Jesus Christ as your advocate from Zenos?
- D. Todd Christofferson taught how the Savior is his advocate:
  - “It is of great significance to me, that I may at any moment and in any circumstance approach through prayer the throne of grace, that my Heavenly Father will hear my petition, that my Advocate, him who did no sin, whose blood was shed, will plead my cause.
