- Principle: Jesus Christ invites all to "Follow Me."
- Book of Mormon Reading : Mosiah 4:4 - 4:15
  - What are the blessings shared from the invitation to follow Jesus?
- Jesus Christ offers a universal invitation in Matthew 4:19, Mark 1:17, and Matthew 16:24 to "Follow Me." In order to follow Christ you must understand the attributes He exemplifies. These include faith, hope, charity and love.
- Study the following scriptures looking for what the scriptures teach about following the example of Jesus Christ.
- Over the next nine weeks you will spend time studying each of these attributes starting with faith in Jesus Christ.
- Ponder faith. What does it mean to you? How do you explain faith to another person? What does it mean to have faith in Jesus Christ?
  - Take a few minutes a write down you definition of faith. You may also want to include examples of faith from your life or from the scriptures.
