Christ died for our sins, 1 Cor. 15:3.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, Philip. 2:8.
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, 2 Tim. 1:10.
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, Heb. 2:9.
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
