  • Jesus Christ, Divine Sonship

    • ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God, John 19:7.

      • The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

    • as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you, John 20:21.

      • 21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

    • God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son, Acts 3:13.

      • 13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

    • having raised up his Son Jesus, Acts 3:26.

    • Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee, Acts 13:33.

      • 33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
