8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
13 And he received not of the fulness at first, but continued from grace to grace, until he received a fulness;
antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son, 1 Jn. 2:22.
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, 1 Jn. 3:8.
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, 1 Jn. 3:23.
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
