  • Jesus Christ, Redeemer

    • I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, Isa. 49:26 (60:16).

      • 26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

      • 16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

    • he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows, Isa. 53:4 (Mosiah 14:4).

      • 4 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

    • in his love … he redeemed them, Isa. 63:9.

    • thou, O Lord, art our father, our redeemer, Isa. 63:16.

      • 16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O Lord, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.
