  • Jesus Christ, Redeemer

    • we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, Rom. 5:10 (Heb. 2:17).

      • 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

      • 17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

    • Christ died for our sins, 1 Cor. 15:3.

      • 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

    • Who gave himself for our sins, Gal. 1:4.

      • 4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

    • we have redemption through his blood, Eph. 1:7 (Col. 1:14; Alma 5:27).

      • 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

      • 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

      • 27 Have ye walked, keeping yourselves blameless before God? Could ye say, if ye were called to die at this time, within yourselves, that ye have been sufficiently humble? That your garments have been cleansed and made white through the blood of Christ, who will come to redeem his people from their sins?
